Last Week Central Self Drive were honored to have a sneak preview of the brand new Iveco Daily, due to enter the market in a few weeks time.
The new Daily has a sharp new look and improvements throughout but still retains its strong ladder frame chassis. More than 80% of the components used on the new model have been redesigned with the aim of maximising the cargo space and easing access to the cargo.
The cabin has been updated with greater comfort. There’s a new dashboard, better sound insulation plus redesigned seats and a new steering wheel. Storage is taken care of with five closed compartments, three cup-holders plus various cubby holes for items such as phones.
The New Daily also offers some important new features aimed at reducing fuel consumption, such as the EcoSwitch, which can be switched on by the driver to modulate torque delivery, the EcoMac smart cooling system and the energy-recovery alternator, all of which contribute to reducing fuel consumption by over 5,5% compared with the previous model.
