Warrington food bank is a way of supporting individuals and families who meet a crisis situation and cannot afford food for a time & Central Self Drive are proud to be working with them, in supplying them with a van at a heavily discounted rate.

If you would like to help donations of non perishable food can be accepted at the Food Bank warehouse:

Unit 9, Tanning Court, Warrington, Cheshire, WA1 2HF

Opening times are 4-7pm Monday to Thursday.

We believe the food bank is a fantastic organisation helping people who are less fortunate in our local community. Schools, churches, businesses and individuals donate non-perishable, in-date food to the food bank which is then sorted by volunteers to check that it’s in date and pack it into boxes ready to be given to people in need. The food is then transported to 7 local distribution centres (Friars Green, Cairo Street / Emmaus Church, Orford / Quench Café, Culcheth / Café Encounter, Birchwood / Latchford Baptist Church / St. Thomas’s Church, Stockton Heath / Hood Manor Methodist Church, Great Sankey.)

Food bank clients bring their voucher to a food bank centre where it can be redeemed for three days emergency food. Volunteers meet clients over a cup of tea or free hot meal and are able to signpost people to agencies able to solve the longer-term problem.
